My team attended the official launch of the Prosper Partnership whose objective is to disrupt and clear the Serious and Organised Crime Groups in the New Hall Lane area of Preston.
The local Police force will work in partnership with local community groups, councils, social services, housing associations, schools and colleges to ensure that the area remains safe and improves the lives of the local residents. This is a Home Office initiative based on a 'Clear, Hold, Build' framework.

Clear – the police will pursue gang members using all available powers and tactics to clear an area.Hold – activity will be put in place to ‘hold’ the cleared area, so that another gang cannot take enter and take control.Build – work will then begin with residents and partners to build the community into an area where people can live, work and visit safely.
If you would like to anonymously report crime in the Fishwick or St Matt’s area to support this initiative, you can do this via Crimestoppers, who are independent of the Police on 0800 555 111 or https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously
