Extra Government Funded Childcare

Good luck to children going back to school and colleges in Preston this week. More great news, that from today (1st September), the Government is providing 30 hours of government-funded childcare, saving local families £7,500 and giving children growing up in Preston the best start in life.

Here are just some of the benefits:

• Cheaper uniforms

• School based nurseries

The Plan for Change will ensure that tens of thousands more children, a record share, are school-ready - hitting targets on personal, social and physical development as well as communication, literacy and maths.
