£20m funding announced for Ribbleton

I’m really pleased share some positive news for #Preston. We’ve secured £20 million of long-term funding for #Ribbleton.

It means that over the next ten years, £2 million will be invested every single year to support our neighbourhood. That money will be dedicated to improving local facilities, backing community groups, creating jobs, and making our streets safer and stronger. It will be up for everyone in Ribbleton to decide how it’s spent.

I’m pleased to say that Preston will receive an additional £1.5m as part of the Pride in Place Impact Fund. This will provide crucial, immediate support for the development of shared spaces, to revitalise local high streets and to improve the public realm.
