Stop Puppy Smuggling

Mark recently attended a briefing from the Dogs Trust about Puppy Smuggling from Central and Eastern Europe,  which highlighted that puppies are being sold to unsuspecting buyers from this country.

This cruel practice involves thousands of young dogs being put through tortuous travel for hundreds of miles, with most deprived of food and water. This, like the trafficking of human beings, must be stopped.

Premier League - Launch of Communities Portal

Mark attended a parliamentary event held by the Premier League to showcase their new 'communities portal' website for MPs.

The site will showcase three of the core elements of the Premier League's community programmes; Premier League Primary Stars, Premier League Kicks and their investment in sports facilities.

Mark visited the headquarters of  n-compass northwest and met with Chief Executive, Teresa Jennings.
