On the 26 April Mark attended the Workers Memorial Day at the Flag market which then continued tothe workers Memorial Statue in Preston.

Mark was the guest of honour at St Mary's RC High Schoool and Sports College in Bamber Bridge, where he presented the pupils of st Mary's with prizes and trophies for their academic and sporting achievements.

India and China discussion with PM Gordon Brown

The Prime Minister took time out of his schedule this week to meet Mark Hendrick MP. The meeting was called by the PM to discuss his forthcoming trip to China and India. Gordon Brown wanted to hear Mark Hendrick's views on the issues to be raised during the trip.
